Ministries
Next Gen Ministries
We believe in equipping the next generation with the word and love of Jesus. FPC offers programs for students of all ages to allow them to learn, grow, and thrive.
Small Groups
Small Groups at FPC nurture personal growth in Christ through meeting together regularly, studying the Bible together, building relationships with one another, and doing life alongside each other.
Food Pantry
The FPC Deacons serve our community through maintaining and distributing food through the Manna Food Pantry.
Pioneer Clubs
Pioneer Clubs pair kids with caring leaders to learn to follow Christ in all parts of their life. Students learn through Bible study, singing, memorization, life skills, and fun activities like crafts, biking, games, and more.
Grades K-6th
Wednesdays 6:30-8:00p
Gilbert's Youth Center
Gilbert's Youth Center is located on the corner of Chillicothe and Mound Streets (across from Shoemaker's parking lot) and is often open for junior and senior high students to hang out with their friends, have fun, and maybe grab a snack. Many of FPC’s youth ministry events and gatherings are held here.
Campaigners is a weekly gathering for kids who want to learn more about Jesus than just what is presented at Club. We invite kids to actively follow Jesus, and the Young Life leaders are there to walk right along with them.
Schedule currently unknown.
Learn more about Young Life
During the fall, high school students are invited to Gilbert’s Youth Center after each Southeastern home football game. Gilbert's is open until 11:00 pm to come and enjoy good food, play games, and hang out.
(Fifth Quarter is supervised by youth staff and adult members of First Presbyterian Church.)
JR. High students are invited to Gilbert's on Wednesday nights (6:30-8:00p) for a time of Bible study. This is great way to continue learning after they've transitioned out of Pioneer Clubs.
Beginning Sept. 18, 2024
High School students are invited for breakfast, fellowship, and a brief devotional time before school on Fridays at 6:45am.
Beginning Sept. 20, 2024
Follow us on social media to stay up to date on all teen events.
Children's Church
Children's Church provides students, Pre-K to 4th grade, with a space to experience a Sunday message that is designed for them and allows them to grow in their faith at their speed. We encourage kids to stay in the Sanctuary through the music and scripture-reading portion of each service before being dismissed for Children's Church.
Grades Pre-K-4th
Sundays during services

Manna Food Pantry
Manna Food Pantry schedules community food distributions every other month. We distribute food baskets at FPC the second Tuesdays in February, April, June, August, October, and December from 5-6pm. To sign up for a basket, call 937-462-8479, ext. 3 by the Sunday before distribution.
We love our volunteers! If you would like to volunteer to stock the food pantry shelves, help with the semimonthly food distribution, or assist in delivering food baskets, please contact the church office.
The Manna Food Pantry runs on food donations and financial donations from people in our community. To donate food, simply drop it off on Sunday mornings in the Donation Box in the Fellowship Hall, or if you need to drop it off during the week, please call the church office to make arrangements.
For financial donations, you may make out checks to "First Presbyterian Church" with Manna Food Pantry in the memo line and send it the the church address (see footer). Donations can also be made online through myEoffering.
