Hello! We are officially now in the season of Advent. At our last Pioneer Club, I shared with the kids what exactly "Advent" was, and the meaning of it. The first day of Advent began yesterday (Sunday, November 28th). I sent home advent calendars with the kids, but in case yours didn't make it safely home (ha!), then I have attached a link for you to print one! Also, we watched this short video below, and it does a great job of explaining what Advent is. I have also attached a a printable "Advent Lesson" that I encourage you to do along with your child, as well as the daily Advent calendars! This is a great way for us to begin to prepare our hearts for the true meaning of the season-- the birth of our Savior! Enjoy! Make sure to check back in a couple of days for another Christmas post!
