The Youth Director shall seek to grow a strong Youth Ministry by building relationships with the youth of the church and community of South Charleston, Ohio. To nurture youth in their Christian faith through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, missions, worship, service and evangelism.

Ministries

Pioneer Clubs

Sharing the love and hope of Jesus to 70+ elementary students every week, through activities, Bible study, games and fellowship.

Gilberts Youth Center

Gilbert's focuses on ministering to the local junior and senior high school students through weekly events, community outreach, and by partnering with the local chapter of YoungLife.

Manna Food Pantry

Supporting local families by providing non-perishable food items.

Discipleship

Sunday Worship

Every Sunday we host two worship services, 8:30a and 11:00a. Our early service provides a touch of tradition with pipe organ hymns, whereas our later service features contemporary worship led by our Praise Band. Throughout 2020, our services averaged 114 weekly attendees.

Sunday School

We have five Youth Sunday School classes and one Adult class throughout the school year. These classes provide a biblical foundation, fellowship, and encouragement to our church community.

Small Groups

Small groups at FPC are to nurture personal growth in Christ through meeting together weekly, studying the Bible together, building relationships with one another, and doing life alongside one another. This is one way we fulfill our mission of
